Pets of the Week - Tank

Tank is a 3 year old Jack Russell. He has been neutered and fully vaccinated. Tank was found by a CCHS volunteer, running the streets and clearly not understanding that moving cars were a dangerous opponent. He was captured and brought to the CCHS shelter to live.

He is friendly with people, and has found a few little doggie friends during his stay. However, Tank has lots and lots of energy, and he becomes frustrated being caged for long stretches at a time. We have noticed that he tends to pace back and forth when caged for too long a time. He loves to run in the shelter yard, and though he is not much for chasing a ball, he does love his other doggie toys.

Once he has tired himself out playing, he just wants to snuggle! If you can offer Tank the happy, active home that he deserves (and hopefully a fenced in yard for hours of playtime!!), please call Clayton Co. Humane at 770-471-9436, and speak with one of our adoption advisors.
