Clayton News Daily
Former Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill was indicted, today, on 37 counts, including racketeering, theft by taking, lying, influencing a witness and violation of oath of office.
The only statement he made to reporters is that he is still running for sheriff.
He is expected to immediately post a $50,000 bond.
His attorney, Musa Ghanayem, said the indictment was political in nature, and he believes Hill still has a lot of support in the community.
More details later.

To the prosecutor or grand jury bringing the case against Victor Hill:
What took you so long to bring charges against this cockroach? Was it necessary to wait until he had the temerity to announce a run for office again? Haven't Clayton Co. taxpayers been taken for enough due to his malfeasance while in office the first time?
Gees!!
