Saturday, Jan. 21

Dixon Grove Baptist Church, 7690 Fielder Road, Jonesboro, will sponsor a food ministry day, Saturday, Jan. 21, from 11 a.m., to 1 p.m. One box of food per family will be distributed. Those picking up boxes must show photo identification.

Red Oak United Methodist Church, at 3894 Walt Stephens Road, Stockbridge, is hosting Upward basketball and cheerleading for boys and girls in the first through sixth grades. Forest Park Baptist Church VIP Ministries, 634 Main St., Forest Park, will meet Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 10:45 a.m., in the church fellowship hall. Senior adults are welcome to join in fellowship, lunch and a special program of interest to senior citizens. Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month with the exception of December. The January program will feature Stephen Robbins, assistant pastor, who will speak about his recent experience while on a church-sponsored mission trip to Mexico. Perfecting The Saints Church International, 1009 Ga. 19/41, five miles north of the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Hampton, is hosting a three-day finance conference Wednesday, Jan. 25, through Friday, Jan. 27, at 6:30 p.m., each day. Morrow Presbyterian Church’s Young-At-Heart senior group invites the public to join a motor coach tour of Niagra Falls departing May 20 and returning May 26.
