Mary Nell Slay-Redding
Mary Nell Slay-Redding, of Forest Park, passed away Jan. 18, 2012.
A service will be held at the Memorial Baptist Church in Forest Park, Friday, Jan. 20, at 12 p.m. The Rev. Doug Slay will officiate. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery. She will lie in-state at the church, TODAY (Thursday), beginning at 6 p.m.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Redding; daughters, Glenda Slay, of Ft. Myers, Fla., Rita Heatley, of Stone Mountain, Ga., Barbara Hurst (Gary), of Pell City, Ala., and Brenda Shelton (Robert), of Jonesboro, Ga.; sons, Charles Slay (Kris), of Forest Park, Randy Slay (Janice), of Hampton, and Douglas Slay (Kim), of McDonough, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors, Morrow, Ga., is in charge of arrangements, (770) 961-2828.
