Albert Allen Trammell, 70, of Riverdale, died Jan. 24, 2012. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who will be greatly missed.
He was retired from the Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service, and also retired from the Clayton County School Bus Transportation Department after 15 years of service. He was also a proud member of the United Auto Workers’ union.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Peggy Trammell, of Riverdale; mother, Ruby Hall, of Forest Park; son and daughter-in-law, Stacy and Darla Trammell, of Greenville; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharal and Bobi, and Robi Widner, of Riverdale, Robin and Jack Denney, of Jackson, and Connie and Jeff Fischer, of Fayetteville; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, James and Linda Trammell, of Calhoun, and Roy and Wendy Hall, of McDonough.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of the Garden Chapel Funeral Home, with Interment in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends TODAY (Thursday, Jan. 26), from 2 p.m., to 4 p.m., and from 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
