Mr. Eddie Goodner, 68, of McDonough, died Jan. 26, 2012. He was born in Waldron, Ariz., to the late Elmer and Bonnie Mitchell Goodner.
Eddie was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was a manager at Southern Auto Electric for several years. Survivors include his wife, Georgia Martell Goodner, of McDonough; his children, Jeannie and David Long, of McDonough, Kimberly Belle and Tim Cash, of McDonough, and Karen and Tommy Williams, of Cartersville; grandchildren, Eddie, Charlotte, Amanda, Brandon, Joseph, Garrett, Travis, Belle Renae, Meghan, Aaron; and great-grandchildren, Chase, Bradley, Lilly, and Carleigh-Ann.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Jan. 29, from 2 p.m., to 4 p.m., at the funeral home. Those who wish, may sign the guest registry online at www.cannonclevelandfunerals.com.
