JONESBORO — Clayton County police have issued a Mattie’s Call for a Jonesboro man who apparently walked away from his home Wednesday about noon.
Lt. Chris Windley said Lorenza Wyatt Jr., 45, was last seen leaving his Raven Drive home on foot, possibly walking to Atlanta. Windley said Wyatt is a paranoid schizophrenic and has not taken his medicine since he left. Relatives told police that Wyatt can become a danger to himself and others without his medication.
Windley said it is unknown what Wyatt was wearing at the time. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Wyatt’s whereabouts should call 911 or contact the Clayton County Police Department at (770) 477-3648.
