Photo by Curt Yeomans The Community Foundation of Atlanta recognized recipients of its 2012 Clayton Fund grants, during a meeting of the Clayton County Rotary Club on Wednesday. Grant winners included: Arts Clayton, Clayton County Family Care, Historical Jonesboro-Clayton County, Inc., Rainbow House and Southern Crescent Sexual Assault Center.
Five Clayton County non-profit organizations got a chance to promote their activities to county Rotarians Wednesday.
The Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta handed out a total of $20,000 in grants from its Clayton Fund, during a Clayton County Rotary Club meeting, to Jonesboro-based Arts Clayton, Forest Park-based Clayton County Family Care, Jonesboro-based Historical Jonesboro-Clayton County, Inc., Morrow-based Rainbow House and the Jonesboro-based Southern Crescent Sexual Assault Center to help the groups enhance their existing programs, and implement new programs.
As each group was recognized at the Rotary Club meeting, a representative of that group stood up and told attendees what their respective organizations do for the community.
