Jonesboro police issued a Mattie’s Call alert Thursday for a Jonesboro man diagnosed with schizophrenia who disappeared Wednesday.
Stephen Aaron Tucker, a 32-year-old white male, was last seen Wednesday afternoon when he left to go to an unspecified store but didn’t return. He was driving his white 2001 Ford E-150 van, Georgia tag BRI 6632.
Tucker, who is about 6 feet 1 and weighs 215 pounds, has short brown hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and plaid shorts.
His family says that he also has bipolar disorder, that he hadn’t taken his medication, and that he may have violent tendencies when unmedicated.
Anyone with information on Tucker or his vehicle can call the Clayton County Police at (770) 477-3650 or dial 911.
