Rev. James D. Fain, 80, of Jonesboro, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 17, at Horis A. Ward’s Fairview Chapel at 2 p.m., with the Rev. James Harper officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. A Georgia native, Rev. Fain was a minister at Rainbow Church of God.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lista Fain; children, Jimmy & Crystal Fain, Becky & Larry Dunn, Susan & Dennis Morris, Greg & Pennie Fain, Cathy, Debbie and Jackie; 22 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Diane & Bob Evens; brother, Willard & Margaret Fain and Donald & Elenore Fain; several nieces & nephews
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Kay Fain.
