Teenager indicted for exposing self to kids

A Riverdale teenager faces numerous public indecency charges after being indicted Wednesday by a Clayton County grand jury.

Anthony Paul McNear, 18, has been unable to post bond on the eight charges and is being held in the Clayton County Jail. The indictments allege McNear masturbated in front of a child under 16 as she walked to school. He is charged with two counts of child molestation and cruelty to children in the first degree in connection with the March 21 alleged incident.

Prosecutors also allege McNear exposed himself in public four different times. He is accused of public indecency April 7, 2011, at the Riverdale Wal-Mart; Jan. 31 on Meadows Drive; and March 13 and March 21 at Roberts and Williamsburg drives.

In other indictments, Joshua Lee Bradberry, 29, was indicted for cruelty to children in the first degree. Prosecutors allege he allowed a child under 18 to wander outside Feb. 12 alone at night in the rain, jeopardizing her safety.

According to Clayton County court records, Bradberry has a previous history of statutory rape, theft and burglary.

Four men were also indicted for keeping a gambling place inside Quick Stop Food Mart in Forest Park. Prosecutors allege Numan Ahmed Arabi, MD Sharifur Rahman, Khondoker M. Rahman and Wolday G. Kahsay ran an illegal gambling place from Feb. 17 to April 4.
