Clayton County police have issued a Mattie’s Call for a Jonesboro man who suffers from a severe brain injury.
Spokeswoman Officer Charlene Watson-Fraser said Mitchell Alan McHugh, 51, was last seen leaving the 7300 block of Howard Circle in Jonesboro about noon Tuesday. He was driving his silver 2012 Honda Pilot displaying a Georgia tag CAH 9986. It is unknown what he was wearing.
McHugh is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He has long, gray hair, a long, gray beard and hazel eyes.
Watson-Fraser said McHugh suffers from schizophrenia, paranoid delusion and persistent auditory hallucinations stemming from a severe brain injury sustained while serving in the U.S. Air Force. He is taking medication for his conditions.
