Henry County police are asking for anyone with information about an armed robbery to contact them.

Henry Police Sgt. Joey Smith said officers responded to a report of an armed robbery, Wednesday, around 3 p.m., at 104 Naomi Drive in Stockbridge.

“A female reported that she had been dropped off at this location by a James M. Pippin, and that she had been robbed at gunpoint by Pippin of her personal belongings,” said Sgt. Smith.

The victim told police that Pippin then fled the scene in a blue, Dodge pickup driven by a white female, the sergeant said. “Pippin is already wanted on unrelated charges.”

The victim was slightly injured, according to police. “A female victim was pushed down, but did not receive medical treatment,” said Smith.

Police were told the victim knows the suspect, according to Smith. Henry Police Maj. Jason Bolton described the incident as a “person-to-person robbery.”
