White Academy’s all-girls dance team, The Dynamic Dancers, recently performed in the Southeast Region Spinal Cord Benefit, to honor Zac Bradley, a 2010 graduate of North Clayton High.
Officials with the Lovejoy school said Bradley, was offered a full basketball scholarship to attend Clayton State University, until an unfortunate car accident last spring, that left the then-19-year-old partially paralyzed.
The community-wide event was held to help with Bradley’s medical expenses and recovery. It was also to help raise funds for a modified van, said school staff.
The benefit was hosted by Hot 107.9 FM radio station personalities, Terry Cullen Chevrolet and Ralph Turner.
