Baylor welcomed the new year in at the Henry County Animal Shelter. This young black lab is hoping to be lucky enough to be out of the shelter by St. Patrick’s Day. He has been there so long that he comes across as shy at first, but with some love and attention, he should overcome that. To see him, ask for 1227/4676 (G68) at the Henry County Animal Shelter, at 527 Ga. Highway 20/81, McDonough. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m., to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m., to 12 p.m. Call (770) 288-7387 (PETS). “Tail” of success: Cadence, the chow mix from four weeks ago, is going to a rescue group.
