Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at Southeastern Regional Medical is hosting a career fair on Tuesday, May 8. The CTCA hospital, which will specialize in complex and advanced-stage cancer care, is set to open in Newnan this August.
The career fair is scheduled to be held from noon until 8 p.m., at Georgia International Convention Center, 2000 Convention Center Concourse, in College Park. Convention center parking is $10.
Southeastern Regional Medical — located about 30 miles west of Clayton County and roughly 40 miles west of Henry County — is currently looking to fill the following positions: nursing (in-patient, out-patient, infusion, ICU and surgery), surgical technicians, rehabilitation therapists, respiratory therapists, sterile processing technicians and registered nurse case managers.
CTCA officials expect to generate 500 new jobs and $500 million in economic activity over the first five years of the hospital’s operation.
The hospital also is seeking management/supervisory positions in surgery, in-patient, nurse/house, quality/risk and pharmacy. For a full position list and to submit an application, visit www.cancercenter.com/newnan.
