During the past week, seven former athletes in the Southern Crescent signed athletic scholarships.
Forest Park had five athletes put their signatures on scholarships in four different sports. Nick Crawford signed a basketball scholarship with Johnson and Wales College in Charlotte, N.C., while girls basketball player Tamara Brewster signed with Emory and Henry, in Virginia.
Lemuel Fuller, who played football and basketball at Forest Park, signed a football scholarship with Geneva College in Pennsylvania. Leon Butts signed with Truett-McConnell to wrestle.
Randy Sivorwang played football for Forest Park, but will attend Georgia Southern on an athletic manager scholarship.
Brandon Chisolm, who played on Lovejoy’s Region 4-AAAA baseball championship team this spring, signed with Paine College.
Also from Lovejoy, Ryan Watkins signed a basketball scholarship with Point University.
