Lula Belle Patton

Lula Belle Patton, 89, of Jonesboro, passed away on May 17, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Mr. John Patton, and her son, Thomas Mosley.

Ms. Patton retired from Parke Davis Company. She was a sharp and classy lady with a great sense of humor and wonderful personality. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, telling jokes and laughing with her family.

Her survivors include her daughter, Evelyn Budd, who was a wonderful caregiver and friend. She also leaves her brother, Albert Davidson; grandchildren, Patricia McDaniel, Stephen Biddy, Pamela Thomas, Thomas Mosley and Justin Christmas; great-grandchildren, Brittany Thomas, Jennifer McDaniel, Autumn Biddy and Nathan Thomas, and one great-great-granddaughter, Renea Mullinax. Others to cherish Ms. Patton’s memory are family members Sambo Mullinax, Todd Lankester and Brenda Biddy.

Lula knew and served the Lord. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Sunday, May 20, from 4 p.m., to 8 p.m., at Tara Garden Chapel. Funeral services for Ms. Patton will be held Monday, May 21, at 2 p.m., with internment to follow at Jonesboro City Cemetery, in Jonesboro.
