Forest Park’s Teen Council will host three southside premiere showings of “Thy Will Be Done” Saturday afternoon and evening at the Upper Ballroom in Forest Park.
The movie, starring Angel Jackson and featuring Brad James of “Tyler Perry’s For Better or Worse” on TBS, is about a “daddy’s little rich girl” whose father’s final will requires that she live in poverty to find her illegitimate sister, according to writer/producer Jerome Brown. He describes it as a positive movie with a message that “greed doesn’t pay.”
“Thy Will Be Done” was shot earlier this year and premiered last month in Marietta. The movie also stars Danielle McGowan, Harmony Jonez and Benjie Anderson.
Showtimes are 2 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The Upper Ballroom, formerly The Royal Palm, is located at 850 Main St. in Forest Park. Admission is $5 for 13 and older, $3 for 12 and under.
