Money stolen from VFW post

Someone apparently saluted Clayton County veterans an hour after Memorial Day ended by breaking into the VFW Post on Huntingdon Drive in Jonesboro and stealing a small amount of money.

Post quartermaster Leo Ott said the building’s burglar alarm went off at about 1 a.m. Tuesday. When Ott arrived at the post in response, he found glass broken on two doors and $43 missing from near the cash register.

“I’d like to catch them,” Ott said of whoever took the money. “The $43 they got is going to cost $563 to fix the two doors they broke.”

Clayton County Police are investigating. Anyone with information can call (770) 477-3550.

WOW, Yes everyone is correct that we have only scum and thugs that has moved into Clayton County from other places like Atlanta because their scum areas of town of Atlanta was totally mowed down to bring in higher housing by which these scum and thugs can not pay to live there anymore as that these scum and thugs will steal and kill everyone for anything now, that is why most of Clayton County Citizens carry guns and has many guns in their homes now too protect themselves. Just as the thugs and scum, on the clayton advocate.
