Mrs. Wynelle Thomas, of Jonesboro, passed away Nov. 20, 2012. Funeral
services will be held Friday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m., at the chapel of
Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors with interment to follow at
Morrow Cemetery. Dr. James B. Lewis and Rev. David Tow will
officiate. The family will receive friends Friday from noon to 2
p.m., prior to service time.
Wynelle was a member of First Baptist Church of Morrow. She served as
a volunteer at Southern Regional Medical Center for more than 20
years. She is survived by her husband, L.C. Thomas; son, Lang Thomas
(Terrie), Roswell; daughters, Anna Bower (Rick), Lawrenceville, and
Linda Dean (Roger), Sharpsburg; brother, Charles D. Walker (Libby),
Carbondale, Colo.; grandchildren, Ashley and Josh Perkins, Chrissy
Thomas, Kurt Dean, John Dean and Laura Dean.
