RIVERDALE — Police say an Ellenwood woman stabbed her baby’s father to death Sunday, during a dispute over the child.
Clayton County Police have charged Jemeka Vontrell Riley with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, according to Clayton Police officer E. Sotto.
Riley, 25, appeared in Clayton County Magistrate Court Monday and was denied bond.
Police allege the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, at 1801 Bentwater Court in Riverdale.
“According to witnesses, a domestic disturbance argument escalated and ended in the stabbing of Shamontay Robinson,” Sotto said.
