Morrow Police are looking for two burglary suspects they said were involved in a cell phone store armed robbery Monday.
Two black men with guns entered the T-Mobile store located at 1990 Mt. Zion Road suite A, around 10:15 a.m., Monday said Morrow Police Detective Sgt. Larry Oglesby.
“They pointed the guns at two of the employees, and said this is a robbery,” Oglesby said. “They took an unknown amount of cash and unknown amount of brand news cell phones.”
Both suspects appeared to be slim and in their mid 20’s, he added.
“One suspect is five feet 10 inches tall, weighing 170 to 190 pounds,” Oglesby said. “ He wore his hair in dreadlocks. He was wearing a light colored long sleeve shirt with the T-Mobile logo on the front, on the back of the shirt were with the T-Mobile logo dots and dark colored pants. He had on white sneakers, black baseball cap with red bib, with a large C on the front. He was also wearing reading glasses.”
The Morrow Police detective said the large C on the baseball cap is the logo for Cincinnati Reds team.
“The other suspect, wore a black baseball cap, with short hair,” he continued. “He was wearing button down light blue shirt with long sleeves, with a blue and white striped necktie. His pants were also dark colored pants. He wore black leather dress shoes. He carried a black back pack on his back. He was also wearing reading glasses.”
The men left the cell phone store in a silver late model 90s Dodge Magnum. Police said they did not know the tag number of the car, nor do they know the direction the suspects fled.
The Morrow police were notified at approximately10:30 a.m., and arrived at the T-Mobile store less than two minutes of the armed robbery call, according to Oglesby.
There were no injuries during the armed robbery.
There were no customers inside the store at the time of robbery, said the detective.
“They entered the front and exited the rear door,” he added.
