Mario Atkinson, Jonesboro: The junior quarterback passed for 252 yards and a touchdown. It was the third time this season that he has passed for more than 200 yards.

Travis Custis, Lovejoy: The senior running back scored four touchdowns and rushed for 98 yards on 10 carries in a Region 2-AAAAAA win over Rockdale at Twelve Oaks Stadium.

Drew offensive line: The combined effort of the offensive line helped the Titans set a single-game record of 617 yards of offense in a win over Forest Park. Members of the line include tackles Demarko Hill and Chiaza Nwadike and guards Darrion Bell and LaDarius Bright. The center is Chris Robinson.

Mike Davis, Lovejoy: Had eight tackles, including two tackles for loss of a total of 14 yards in a region win over Rockdale. He also had two sacks and four quarterback pressures in only three quarters.

Rodricous Gates, Mundy’s Mill: The sophomore quarterback was 8 of 11 for 121 yards passing and a touchdown in the Tigers region win over Mount Zion.

Zane Fields, Lovejoy: The senior defensive end had 10 tackles, including four tackles for a total loss of 22 yards in a Region 2-AAAAAA win over Rockdale. He also had three quarterback pressures.

Nate Norwood, Lovejoy: The senior noseguard/linebacker had nine tackles and two quarterback sacks in the region win over Rockdale. He also had three quarterback pressures while only playing in three quarters.

Patrick Petty, Jonesboro: The senior running back had two touchdowns of 1 and 2 yards in a win over North Clayton. He also had six catches for 80 yards and a touchdown.

Garrett Rodriguez, Forest Park: The senior scored the Panthers’ lone touchdown in a loss to Drew when he returned a kickoff 70 yards for a score.

Rodney Smith, Mundy’s Mill: The junior running back had 274 yards rushing and two touchdowns as the Tigers won their first game of the season with a victory over Mount Zion. He had 23 carries for an 11.9 yards per carry average.

Raleek Taylor, Mundy’s Mill: The defensive lineman intercepted a screen pass and returned it 20 yards for a touchdown in the Tigers win over Mount Zion at Tara Stadium.

Brandon Williams, Forest Park: The senior linebacker/fullback had seven solo tackles on defense and three catches for 50 yards on offense in the Panthers’ region loss to Drew.
