Rotary teeing up for charity

— The Rotary Clubs of Clayton County and Lake Spivey will drive golf balls down the fairway Friday to raise money for numerous charities.

The event will begin with a 1 p.m. shotgun start, and people can sign up at www.lakespiveyrotary.com or www.rotaryclubofclaytoncounty.com. Proceeds will be used to pay for programs, charities and non-profits, such as donations of dictionaries to Clayton County third-graders, Arts Clayton, Boy Scouts of America, Rainbow House, House of Dawn and the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.
