RIVERDALE Many fall festivals have cakewalks, but how many have a farmer’s market?
It may not be common, but Clayton County Commissioner Gail Hambrick and county parks officials will have one at this weekend’s Fall Festival at Flat Shoals Park. The festival will take place Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the park, which is located at 1915 Flat Shoals Road, in Riverdale.
In addition to the farmer’s market, the festival will also include a community garden, a costume contest, a rock climbing wall, a moonwalk, a disc jockey, a magician, clowns, face painters, arts and craft activities, county public safety representatives, according to the Clayton County Parks and Recreation Department.
