JONESBORO—Clayton County Police are asking anyone with information about a recent murder to come forward with the information.
Authorities are continuing to search for suspects and witnesses of a recent early morning murder, said Clayton Police spokesperson Lt. Chris Windley. He said the incident occurred Oct. 13, at 12:20 a.m., at Magnolia Bay Motel located at 701 Southside Commercial Parkway in Jonesboro.
Christopher Montanna Wilson, 23 of Jonesboro was fatally shot and died at the scene, Windley said.
“Police are still gathering information in reference to the suspects involved and the circumstances of the shooting,” he said.
The lieutenant said Clayton Police investigators believe numerous witnesses may have heard the shooting and are asking anyone with information to contact Clayton Police Department at 770 -477-3648.
