Alejandro Bennifield, Lovejoy: The senior quarterback passed for 223 yards on 11 of 17 passes, which included three touchdown scores to lead the Wildcats to a win over Newton.

Jonathan Celestin, Mundy’s Mill: The junior defensive back had nine tackles, including one tackle for loss in the Tigers’ loss to Union Grove.

Montrell Custis, Lovejoy: The sophomore cornerback had five tackles and an interception in a win over Newton.

Travis Custis, Lovejoy: The senior running back rushed for 118 yards on 16 carries to help the Wildcats to a win over Newton, which clinched the Region 2-AAAAAA championship. He also scored three touchdowns for the third straight week. He completed a pass for 22 yards and had two receptions for 44 yards.

Brandon Davis, Lovjeoy: The senior cornerback had five tackles and three pass breakups. He also had an interception, which he returned for 59 yards.

Quinton Edwards, Jonesboro: The senior linebacker had nine tackles and two tackles for losses in a win over Riverdale. He also had a safety.

Linell Gaston, Forest Park: The junior linebacker had 12 tackles, including 10 solo stops in a loss to Ola. He also had a sack.

DeMarquis Gates, Lovejoy: The linebacker had nine tackles, including two tackles for losses in a region win over Newton. He also had a caused fumble and two pass breakups.

Terrell Jordan, Drew: The senior linebacker had 7.5 tackles, including one tackle of a loss in a win over Mount Zion. He also had an interception in the subregion win at Southern Crescent Stadium.

Lester Knauls, Drew: The junior running back had 14 carries for 169 yards and four touchdowns in a subregion win over Mount Zion. He had touchdown runs of 5, 1, 1, and 66 yards.

Nate Norwood, Lovejoy: The senior noseguard/linebacker had nine tackles, including four tackles for losses in a region win over Newton. He also had a sack.

Patrick Petty, Jonesboro: The senior running back had 96 yards on 24 carries in a win over Riverdale in a key subregion game. He also scored a touchdown.

JuMichael Ramos, Lovejoy: The senior wide receiver had seven receptions for 153 yards and two touchdowns in a region win over Newton.

Veion Robinson, Lovejoy: The senior outside linebacker/defensive end had 10 tackles and two sacks in a win over Newton that clinched the Region 2-AAAAAA title for the Wildcats.

Rodney Smith, Mundy’s Mill: The junior running back had 123 yards rushing on 22 carries in the Tigers’ loss to Union Grove in a subregion game. Smith scored the Tigers’ lone touchdown on a 8-yard run.

Cameron Sutton, Jonesboro: The senior had eight carries for 55 yards and a touchdown. He also had one catch for 17 yards in a win over Riverdale. The Tennessee commitment averaged 52.2 yards on four punts.

David White, Drew: The senior cornerback had an interception and a 62-yard punt return. He also had three pass breakups in a subregion win over Mount Zion.

Brandon Williams, Forest Park: The junior linebacker had 12 tackles in the Panthers loss to Ola. He also had a sack in the subregion contest.
