McDONOUGH — Southern Belle Farm plans to kick off its 2012 fall season this month.
Ansley Glenn is spokeswoman for the 200-acre farm in east McDonough.
“Southern Belle Farm is the place for some good ole’ family fun down on the farm,” said Glenn. “The family farm is a former dairy farm, now operated as an agritourism farm, open to the public seasonally. Our specialties are homegrown family fun, fresh produce and wholesome memories.”
Glenn said this year marks the seventh fall season at the farm, whose offerings have grown each year to include a seven-acre cornfield maze, a pumpkin patch, a pedal kart track, a kiddie korral, a hayride, a jumping pillow, a Cow Train, a corn cannon, miniature swimming pig races and farm animals.
Southern Belle Farm opens Sept. 22 and remains open through Nov. 4. Fall hours are Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., and Sundays from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. The farm is at 1658 Turner Church Road.
