JONESBORO — A new clinic in Lovejoy will open its doors next week with an open house, health fair and free health screenings for the community, officials have announced.
The Southside Medical Center, located at 2201 Talmadge Road, in Lovejoy, will host its grand opening ceremony Sept. 12, at 9 a.m., and it will be followed by the open house and health fair. The even will last until 2 p.m., according to an announcement from the clinic.
Attendees at the health fair will be able to undergo screenings for glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure and body mass index. They will also be able to receive free dental examinations.
