JONESBORO The halls of the historic Clayton County Courthouse, in Jonesboro, will be filled with the sound of music a day after the lawn outside is invaded by thousands of ducks this weekend.
The Clayton County Board of Commissioners signed off on a location agreement Monday, to let hip-hop music company, Get Money Entertainment, LLC, film a music video at the old courthouse. The video will be shot Sunday, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., according to the agreement.
The agreement also states the county will be paid $500 to let Get Money Entertainment film the video at the courthouse.
Little information about who runs Get Money Entertainment is listed on the company’s website, www.getmoneyent.webs.com/. Although the site includes photos of its entire staff, they are identified by nicknames — such as the chief executive officer known alternately as “Slim-K” and “Da Boss” — rather than by their real names.
The video shoot will be a 180-degree change from Clayton County CASA’s 14th Annual Darlin’ Duck Derby, to be held Saturday at the historic courthouse.
