Members of the Crochet Club in Clayton County have been busy making more than 100 pairs of baby booties for a local pregnancy center.

“We worked on these for about three months,” said club member Vicki Drummond.

At any given time throughout the year, the club memebers are working on several project for charities including hats for cancer patients and lap blankets for senior citizens.

“If they give us a pattern, we can make it,” said crocher Dot Darby.

The Crochet Club meets every Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and the first and third Saturday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Clayton County Headquarters Library on Battle Creek Road.

All skill levels are welcome to join.
