JONESBORO — The Jonesboro City Council will likely not meet this month.
City officials sent out a notice Thursday announcing, “The City of Jonesboro Mayor and Council will not hold the monthly worksession meeting or the regular council meeting in the month of February 2013.”
No reason for the cancellation was listed in the notice, but city officials said they had no business to discuss this month. No called meetings have been announced as of Friday.
The next scheduled work session is expected to take place March 4, and the next scheduled business meeting is expected to take place March 11.
