A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 11 a.m. at World Changers Church International, 2500 Burdett Road, College Park, Ga. 30349.

Lisa Marie Davis was born Aug. 29, 1963, to Helen Lee and Luther Junior Davis in Lansing, Mich. She attended Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a junior usher and sang in the young adult choir.

Lisa received her diploma from Lansing Eastern High School in 1981. In 1984, Lisa was blessed with the birth of her son Terry (T.C.) Cannon. In 1991, Lisa relocated her family to Atlanta, where she followed in her father’s and grandfather’s footsteps by beginning her 20-plus-year career at the Coca-Cola Company. Lisa started working at the Coca-Cola Company in Marketing and Promotion. Because of her devotion and many accomplishments, she escalated to the position of Brand Manager. Lisa was also involved in The Coca-Cola African-American Business Resource Group and Women’s Link.

Lisa had an unconditional love for her son Terry, and a passion for living life to the fullest. As an accomplished world traveler, she began her travel agency, Destinee Travel LLC in 2004. She enjoyed going to church, cooking/baking, reading, sports, and traveling. She was an avid tennis player, a novice golfer, book club member, and world traveler. And it was because of her love for reading that Lisa started the LL Book Club. Lisa was a member of the Clayton County Tennis Team, the United States Tennis Association (USTA) under the team name of “Clayton Divas,” and the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association (ALTA) under the team name of “ALTA Tennis Divas.”
