Breasia McElrath scored a game-high 14 points and added seven rebounds to pace Forest Park to a 49-25 Region 4-AAAAA, Div. A win over Mundy’s Mill on Tuesday.
The Lady Panthers had 24 steals in the game.
Tiffany Wilson finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and six steals while Kayla Potts scored 10 points and nine steals.
Forest Park is 18-7 overall and will enter the region tournament at Ola as the top seed from the subregion.
Griffin 63, North Clayton 57: Christal Williams’ 18 points was enough as the Lady Eagles lost in the Region 4-AAAA, Div. B game on the road.
Lorenda Holsten had 15 points and KeKe Harden added 12 for North Clayton (11-14).
Griffin was paced by Shacoria Jones, who finished with 17 points.
Drew 71, Mount Zion 12: Lakiah Sims and Jada Hargrove scored 17 points each as the Lady Titans cruised to the Region 4-AAAAA, Div. A win.
BOYS
North Clayton 61, Griffin 50: Stafan Bradley scored 21 points and Devin Lewis added 13 in the Region 4-AAAA, Div. B road win.
The Eagles improved to 12-12 overall as they head into next week’s region tournament as the No. 3 seed.
Rayshod Armstrong scored 16 points to pace Griffin, which will be the No. 5 seed from the subregion.
