LOVEJOY — Clayton County police have made an arrest in Sunday's early morning shooting at Waffle House, said officials.

Deuntae Jones, 21, of Riverdale has been charged with affray, three counts of aggravated assault, carrying a concealed weapon, reckless conduct and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, said Officer John Schneller.

Schneller said police responded Sunday about 12:30 a.m. to Waffle House at 11152 Tara Boulevard in reference to a fight. After arriving on the scene, police found that shots had been fired and three people were wounded, he said.

All three were taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police made a quick arrest in the shooting, he said.

"With information gained from the scene, officers located and conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle," said Schneller. "The investigation is still ongoing and there are no other details available at this time."
