McDONOUGH — The Clayton County Board of Education meets for its monthly work session Monday.
The school board is expected to take action on 15 proposed amendments to policies pertaining to personnel.
A notable change is in the board’s sick leave policy. The proposal doubles the days (from three to six) an employee can be away on sick leave for consecutive work days before they are required to have certain documentation to excuse the absence.
Also included on Monday’s agenda is discussion on the 2013-14 school calendar, school safety and security, the board’s legal services and school finances.
The board will have updates on personnel changes and revenue collections from the one-cent Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax and construction funded by SPLOST IV.
School officials will also make presentations on Infinite Campus and the Southern Association of College and Schools.
