Mr. Robert Howard “Bob-O” Rimmer, 47, of McDonough, passed away Dec. 28, 2012. He was born in Decatur, to Jane Ellen Smith Rimmer and the late Robert Earl Rimmer. Bob-O enjoyed cars, motorcycles and racing.
Survivors include his mother, Jane Rimmer, of McDonough; sons, Christopher Butler, of Coffee County, Michael (Chelsea) Butler of Parris Island, S.C.; granddaughters, Jada and Charley Butler; sisters, Karen Rimmer, of Hampton, and Kim Haynes, of McDonough; nephews, Jacob Greene and Justin Haynes; and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 5, at 3 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Rev. Jerry Rimmer will officiate. Friends may visit the family from 1–3 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to the American Heart Association in memory of Bob-O.
