Donna Lea Ballard, 87, of Jonesboro, passed at her home on Wednesday evening Jan. 2, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard W. Ballard; daughter, Rhonda Buckner and her husband Eddie; daughter, Cindy Howard and her husband Gene; her granddaughter, Candace Duvall, and great-grandson, Austin York.
Donna Lea was born in Indianola, Iowa, but resided on Lake Spivey for 52 years. Mrs. Ballard was a Pink Lady at Henry General Hospital for 25 years. A memorial service will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, at New Hope United Methodist Church in Hampton. The family will receive friends from 11-12 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
