J.R. Holder scored a game-high 24 points and added six assists as Mount Zion cruised to a 75-45 Region 4-AAAAA, Div. A win over Forest Park on Tuesday at home.

Teammate Carnilious Simmons added 19 points and 20 rebounds as Mount Zion improved to 10-3 overall and 5-1 in the region.

“It was a great team effort by everybody,” Mount Zion coach Maurice Trische said.

Dutchtown 70, Locust Grove 63: Donovahn Jones scored 20 points to lead the Bulldogs to the home victory.

Jonesboro 70, Spalding 68: DeAntre Mack had a game-high 21 points to lead ninth-ranked Cardinals to the road win.

The Cardinals also got 14 points from Elijah Wade and Michael Robinson added 13 in the Region 4-AAAA, Div. B victory.

Splading was led by Terence Brittian, who had 15 points. Phillip Goodrum added 12 and Markee Dickerson had 11 for the home team.

Westminster 39, Stockbridge 37: Ronald McCloud scored 12 points and Nathaniel Green added 11, but it wasn’t enough as the Tigers dropped the non-region game at home.

Green missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer for the Tigers, who dropped to 4-10 overall.

This was the lowest point output for the Tigers all season.

Carver-Columbus 66, Henry County 62: Despite three players in double figures, the Warhawks were unable to pull out the home win.

Sheldon Williams had 20 points to lead two other players in double figure scoring in the Region 2-AAA contest.

Tondric Johnson had 15 points and Dre Souder added 12 as Henry County fell to 10-5 overall and 4-1 in the region.

Ola 39, Forest Park 37: Andrew Caldwell scored 12 points and Derrick Battle had eight to lead the Mustangs to the home victory.
