PREP ROUNDUP: Cacok leads Drew boys to 49-45 win over Ola

Devonta Cacok scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Drew to a 49-45 win over Ola on Friday to extend its winning streak to three games.

Brandon Clyde added 10 points for Drew, which improved to 6-7 overall and 5-2 in Region 4-AAAAA, Div. A.

Andrew Caldwell scored 15 points and Coleman Seabolt had 11 for Ola, which dropped to 5-13 overall.

Eagle’s Landing 87, Dutchtown 56: Trevin Joseph scored 18 points to lead three players in double figures as the Golden Eagle’s cruised to a Region 4-AAAA, Div. A win.

Chris Davenport added 13 points and Jordan Session had 10 for Eagle’s Landing, which won for the third straight time.

Luella 59, Lovejoy 57: TeMarcus Blanton had 25 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Lions to their fifth straight win.

Nyrryk Evans added 13 points and handed out seven assists as the Lions improved to 13-3 overall and 5-0 in Region 2-AAAAAA.

GIRLS

Jonesboro 53, North Clayton 35: Victoria Florence scored 13 points and Briana Benson and Michaelle Smith each scored 12 for the Lady Cardinals in the Region 4-AAAA, Div. B contest.
