JONESBORO The Clayton County Chamber of Commerce will throw open its doors and welcome business owners who are not already members of the organization this week.
The chamber will host a “Membership Open House” Thursday from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at its office, located at 2270 Mt. Zion Road, in Jonesboro.
The group’s leaders are expected to be on hand to talk with prospective members about the benefits of joining the Chamber of Commerce, according to www.claytonchamber.org/.
“We invite you to join us for our Membership Open House and learn how to get the most of your Chamber membership,” chamber leaders wrote on the group’s website.
“Whether you are a new member or a longstanding member, this orientation will provide you with valuable information.”
Although chamber officials prefer it if attendees call and register in advance, they are not requiring appointments for the event. There is no cost to attend the event.
Call 678-610-4021 or log onto claytonchamber.org to register for the open house.
