Coleman Seabolt hit a jumper with two seconds remaining to give Ola a 58-56 win over visiting Mundy’s Mill on Tuesday in a Region 4-AAAAA, Div. A contest.

Down 12 points with four minutes remaining in the game, the Mustangs mounted a comeback for their second straight win.

“I’m pretty confident in Coleman,” Ola coach Curt Miller said. “It was amazing seeing our team play hard.”

Andrew Caldwell had a team-high 16 points for Ola while Malik Smith and Seabolt each scored 12 points in the win.


Eagle’s Landing 100, Locust Grove 39: Trevin Joseph had a game-high 18 points to lead three other players in double figures in the Region 4-AAAA, Div. A win on the road.

The Golden Eagles improved to 15-5 overall with their second win this season over Locust Grove. Isaiah Dennis had 13 points as Eagle’s Landing extended its winning streak to six games.

Cameron Robinson and South Carolina signee Desmond Ringer had 13 points each.

Stockbridge 74, Dutchtown 65: Ramone Wynn had a game-high 27 points to lead the Tigers to a Region 4-AAAA, Div. A win on the road.

Jesse Murray added 14 points for Stockbridge (6-13), while Nathan Greene had 10.

Jonesboro 54, Griffin 40: Duby Okeke scored nine points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Cardinals to the Region 4-AAAA, Div. B win on the road.

Casey Wells, DeAnte Mack, Cameron Sutton and Brandon Black each scored eight points a piece for Jonesboro, which has won five straight games.

North Clayton 60, Upson-Lee 59: Stafan Bradley scored a game-high 23 points as the Eagles escaped with a road win.

Upson-Lee missed a layup at the buzzer in the Region 4-AAAA, Div. B contest.

Spalding 66, Riverdale 54: Despite 15 points from Quincy January, the Raiders dropped the Region 4-AAAA, Div. A game on the road.

Spalding was led by Terence Brittian, who had 16 points and Phillip Goodrum added 12 for the win.


Union Grove 46, Mount Zion 43: Union Grove staved off a Mount Zion comeback attempt as the Lady Wolverines — up by as many as nine in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter — held on for the Region 4-AAAAA, Div. A win.

It was the third straight single-digit loss for the Lady Bulldogs — a slight sign of improvement while having lost eight of their last nine games.

Union Grove (11-10) won its third straight contest as it fights with Mundy’s Mill for the third place in the subregion. Junior forward Treva Hickey scored a game -high 19 points for the Lady Wolverines while Carolyn Fluker added 12.

Tyeisha Juhan and Vivian McDouglad led Mount Zion with 11 and nine points respectively. The Bulldogs fell to 4-14 with the loss.

Mundy’s Mill 50, Ola 43: Kelsee Arnold had 21 points to lead the Lady Tigers in the road win.

Riverdale 56, Spalding 51: De’Ana Turner had 23 points and Toni Thomas added 14 for the Lady Raiders in the subregion win on the road.

Spalding got 23 points form Twandalette Cotton and Shaquoria Reid added 14 points.
