Mr. John Wetz, of Forest Park, passed away Jan. 22, 2013, at the age of 85. John was an active member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church. He served in both the U.S. Army and Navy, enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Teamsters Union for 50 years.
John is survived by his wife, Loretta Wetz; daughters, Vickie Pinson (George), of Conley, and Kathy Smith, of Forest Park; son, Randall “Randy” Wetz, of Forest Park; grandchildren, Paul Bingaman and Nicholas Vassy. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Feb. 3, at 3 p.m. at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church in Lake City. Thomas L.
