JONESBORO — There is no need for alarm for motorists passing by Suder Elementary School Saturday.
The parking lot is filled with Jonesboro and Lake City police and Clayton County sheriff's cars, and fire trucks and ambulances but there is no emergency. The public safety personnel are engaged in training in case of an active shooter at a Jonesboro or Lake City school.
Chief Franklin Allen said his officers and sheriff's deputies, Lake City police and SWAT medics with the Clayton County Fire Department are getting active shooter training.

It's good to see that some of our law enforcement are planning and training but where was CCPD. You know, the County Police Department? I guess planning and training isn't one of Porter's concerns when it comes to our children.
