Helen O’Kelley Dalton, 86, of Eatonton died Jan. 26, 2013.

She is survived by daughter, DiAnne Dalton Wallace of Eatonton, sons, Jimmy & Cheryl Dalton of Riverdale, Robert & Nancy Dalton of Hilton Head, S.C., Kenney & Marilyn Dalton, Eatonton, Ga., nine grandchildren, Mindy and Justin McLaughlin, Thomaston, Nick Dalton, Georgia, Chris and Stephanie Dalton, Conyers, Jason and Jennifer Dalton, Jefferson, Shaun Dalton of Dacula, Bobby Dalton of Suffolk, Va., Michael and Candace Richter, Charlotte, N.C., Kevin and Lori Dalton, Franklin, Ga., Trina and Travis Mitchell, Naples, Fla.; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by brothers, Alfred & Eudora O’Kelley, JW O’Kelley & Benjamin O’Kelley and sister-in-law, Grace O’Kelley, all of Moultrie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, James N. Dalton, her parents, Hubert and Ollie O’Kelley, her son-in-law Henry (Sonny) Wallace, her brother Wilburn E. O’Kelley, of Moultrie and her sister-in-laws, Evelyn and Sally Mae O’Kelley, also of Moultrie.

Born May 19, 1926, in Moultrie, she attended Colquitt County High School, Moultrie, and Massey Business College of Atlanta and Atlanta Technical School. She married her husband, James N. Dalton in 1946 in Moultrie.

In 1988, she retired as a Supervisor for The State of Georgia Revenue Income Tax Division after 27 years of service. She and her husband, James, retired to Eatonton in 1994.

She was a Founding Member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Eatonton.

Visitation were held Sunday, Jan. 27, from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton and services were held Jan. 28 at 1 p.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church, Eatonton.

Burial followed at the family plot at the Fairview Cemetery in Stockbridge.
