RIVERDALE — Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services is offering a reward for information on an apparent arson of a Jonesboro business.
Capt. Walter Barber said investigators determined that the June 9 fire at Jonesboro Motorsports at 756 Veterans Parkway was arson.
"After the fire was extinguished and an investigation completed, it was determined that it was intentionally set," he said. "Unfortunately, the perpetrator has not been identified."
Walter said a reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information on who may have started the fire. That information must lead to an arrest and conviction, he said.
Anyone with information should call Clayton County Fire Marshal's Office at 770-473-7833 or the Georgia Arson Tip Line at 1-800-282-5804.
