JONESBORO — The Clayton County Board of Education will meet twice Monday for a work session and July board meeting.
The work session is scheduled to follow the 6 p.m. board meeting.
The meeting agenda includes reports from the district’s finance department.
Officials will update the board on purchasing, financial reporting, SPLOST IV collections, personnel changes and school construction.
The board plans to review and take action on its management oversight policy, and its School Board Operations and General School Administration policies.
For the work session that follows, members plan to have second reads on the fiscal management and business management policies and are expected to take action on them. They will have a first read of the facility expansion program and general public relations policy.
The work session agenda also includes updates on rezoning and possible approval of the district’s fiscal year 2014 Perkins IV Local Plan for Improving Career, Technical and Agricultural Education.
The board meets at 1058 5th Ave. in Jonesboro.
