JONESBORO — So a mayor, a manager, a director and a former politician walk into a room full of women.
It might sound like the set-up for a punchline but it is actually the line-up for the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Women in Business Council Spotlight Luncheon.
The chamber has announced tickets for the Aug. 15 lunchtime gathering are available for purchase on its website, www.claytonchamber.org.
The lunch will take place from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Pristine Chapel Lakeside, 7541 Mt. Zion Blvd. in Jonesboro.
Panelists speaking at the event include Jonesboro Mayor Joy Day, Destiny Organics LLC General Manager Diana Earwood, Georgia International Convention Center Executive Director Mercedes Miller and former county Commissioner Virginia Burton Gray.
Ticket prices are $35 per person, and a table for eight can be purchased for $300. Exhibit tables can be leased for $150.
