JONESBORO — The time has come for Clayton County residents to make their voices heard on where they want to see the county headed over the course of the next two decades.
Officials from the county’s Community Development Department announced two public input meetings where residents will offer comments on what should be included in an updated Clayton County Comprehensive Plan.
The plan will be used by officials to map out which projects and initiatives should be undertaken in the coming decades.
“This update will result in a 20-year policy guide for the development and redevelopment of Clayton County,” according to the county website.
The first community meeting will be held Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Virginia Burton Gray Recreation Center, 1475 East Fayetteville Road in Riverdale.
The second meeting will be held Aug. 12, also at 6:30 p.m., at Clayton County International Park’s VIP Complex, 2300 Ga. 138 in Jonesboro.
